And now we come to the winter of my discontent, well, I will soon be in that shape. I'm getting my tonsils out tomorrow afternoon. I figure a couple weeks of serious pain will make up for the lost time I have spent over the last few years with strep throat. As a bonus, any lucky peeps sleeping with me will no longer have to deal with any snoring!
I'm taking two weeks off work. A vacation of a sorts. I really should not have looked up adult tonsillectomy recovery on the googles. One lady compared her recovery with natural child birth. I'm too big a pussy for that.
The last few weeks I've seen some good bands, had some great nights out with friends, but I'm sorta looking forward to convalescence, especially the reading I plan to do. Reading, 3 @ a time from Netflix and adding HBO should do the trick. I hope I get good drugs.
So, I'll be out of action for a while, but will be on the net/computer when I have a little mental clarity. Take care, be good!

next few on iTunes shuffle and random lyrics or thoughts about them:
Apologies to Insect Life: British Sea Power (Gymnastic-whores-down-on-all-fours-with-septic-pores-from-fucked-up-
bores-I-would-like-to-give-you-more-my lassie)
Hunting High and Low: a-ha (beautiful love song)
Low Life: The Police (I, too, have a Fatal fascination for the seedy part of town.)
Publish My Love: Rogue Wave (another great love song. I think 95% of songs are love songs though)
I Held Her in My Arms: Violent Femmes (almost ska-like)
Shaking the Tree (Live): Peter Gabriel (he's top notch, but doesn't get much props)
Anonymous Collective: Stereolab (you and me are moulded by things
well beyond our acknowlegment )
White Riot: The Clash (huzzah for The Clash!!)
Show Don't Tell: Rush (just watched a 30th Anniversary concert film of Rush last night. I want to see them live someday)
Madder: Groove Armada (this is a total jam!!)

No, we haven't gotten into that show yet. We probably will though, as everyone I know loves it.
