Let me tell you a tale.
Once there was an island with a lot of trees and a great deal of highly cultured people. The people lived quite comfortably and were exclent craftsmen, carving superb statues out of trees. But slowly they cut away more and more of the forest until they had cut the last tree down. All the people had relied on the animals and fruits of the forest for food, so all they had left were some cave nexting birds. Well there were by now a lot of people so all the birds were eaten within a year or so and there was no food on the island anymore except the chickens they farmd. So the people fought a great war for survival, they went after each others chickens and if they couldn't get the chickens then they'd eat their fallen enemies. This war went on and on for 50 years and 60% of the people died. Then the people grew weary of war and, now they had the room, started to plant crops. Then invaders from a distant land came and enslaved half of the people. Years later a few people who had been enslaved return, they carried a mysterious plague that wiped out 3/4 of the people that were left. And the people lamneted for their defience of Nature, if they had sustained the forest they wouldn't have had a war and could have fought the invaders, but their selfishness, worship and greed had blinded them.
That is the story of Easter Island, famed for the giant heads on the coast.
A kid punched me on the way to uni today. No reason. I'm sick of kids I really am. I'm dead certain that I wasn't such a prick when I was 14. If they're in the streets then I'm vermin to them. If I'm at a gig then I'm a platform for pogoing and a skinny guy to elbow in the head in the hope that he may move out of the way so they can barge past. And I have no right to do anything about it... I just have to accept it. If I complain about it I'm a whiner, if I do nothing then I have no right to complain. Same thing with the Government, but at least you can ignoor them to a good extent, kids are ubiquitous. I'm wondering if I should even bother going to Anaal Nathrakh, I can't be bothered to have another day spoilt by kids I really can't.
Forgive me I'm realy low today
