I have poison ivy. I had this idea that since I'd never gotten it, I was immune. So I cleared out a dense thicket with my bare hands a few days ago. Now my arms are tingly and itchy up to the elbows. I'm kind of interested to see what will happen. Maybe I'll break out in gross weeping sores.
Yesterday was my lucky day. I found Salt-n-Pepa, Run DMC, and Peggy Lee tapes at the Goodwill yesterday. I also found a shiny shorts workout suit and the label said Virginia Slims....yes! The Gods of thrift were smiling upon me.
I've been itching to throw a party. A fun cocktail party with lots of food. I don't like it when people have parties and don't have food. Here is what we will have:
-Margaritas
-Hibiscus Agua Fresca
-Ceviche in tortillas
-chips and various dips
-Some type of fried pastry thing, I usually make fried wontons but I'd keep with the Latin theme.
-K has requested fried oysters and calamari.
You can come to my party and eat all my food and drink my drinks.

you're not so bad yourself: you like le tigre (I've got "from the desk of mr lady" in my discman at the moment; its my bouncing home from work music) and you're from decatur (I think michael stipe was born there)
and I could really do with a Margarita, but its only 9.30 in the morning here...
