tuesday. five forty-one pm.
WARNING: this post may be whiney. babypolygon is sick.
yeah. work was trash today. i felt so ill all day. i don't know why i tried to do so much work. carla basically told me that she didn't expect me to do anything if i didn't want to, but i abhor the idea of just standing around while i'm on the clock, even if i am sick. maybe i really am a workaholic.
we've been having worse shoplifting than usual lately. pointy face has been in two days in a row now, and two girls from the ponytail crew were in as well. i love how we have all these secret names for them. makes it sound like undercover work. it pisses me off though. i get this personal vendetta and start thinking, "to hell with you if you think you're leaving my department with something."
i just feel like scum in general. and i look like trash. bah. there are too many gorgeous girls on this site to log on when i'm feeling crappy. i think i'm going to throw on some pjs, brew some green tea, and in general be very lazy for the rest of the night. a nap sounds like a good idea.

I always enjoyed busting shoplifters in my old bookstore... One cat tried walking out with 10-15 copies of a Chicken Soup once. And he swore that he had a receipt until mall security kindly escorted him away.
