So I thought I was going to get a new car today...
It appeared that the clear coat paint my Caddy was starting to come off. I had it washed the other day and one of the workers pointed it out to me. I freaked!!! I told David, my B/F, about it and he heard somewhere that if they have to repaint the whole car that it could be classified as a lemon.
California lemon laws say that if the problem can't be fixed after a certain number of attempts, they have to buy the car back or give me a new one at my discretion. David called his lawyer to confirm this. The lawyer told us that aftermarket paint-job would never look the same and that all we would have to do is keep complaining about and GM would make the dealership take it back.
Well it appears that it wasn't the clear coat; it was something called "fall out". Which is typically caused be smog deposits landing on your car and making nasty stains. All they have to do is lightly sand it and buff it out. They did a test spot and I was hoping for the worst. If it didn't look perfect, I was going to become a pain in the ass. The only problem was... IT LOOKED GREAT! Now they have to do the whole car, which will take 3 days to complete. In the meantime they gave me a loaner, which is a waaaaaaaaay better car then mine.
It has a massaging driver's seat... The last time I had a massaging anything was, well never mind about that...
