I had a great time friday night, thank you SGSantaBarbara, and thank you Hades, and thank you Mamma. Wish I could've stayed longer. We'll have to do it again soon.
Walking over to my friend's houe after I left the bar I got caught up in a cloud of night blooming jasmine, my favorite smell in the world. I had to stand there and just breathe for a couple minutes. You know how most scents remind you of something, or someone, or a place or a particular part of your life? I don't have a sense memory linked to the smell of Jasmine. It doesn't conjure up anything in particular except happiness. It smells like euphoria. It makes me feel everything good all at once. It makes me want to dance.
Ha, what if you danced to smells instead of beats?
oh wow, I say the dumbest things sometimes. Last night I was on a winning streak of stupidity, I really out did myself.
p.s. saw Million Dollar Baby last night. Cried like a small child.

oh, and the scent of star jasmine makes me swoon. I had vines of it along my porch in my old apartment. I cried when I had to leave those plants behind.
