So, as an update to my fellow SG followers:
PT test went horribly wrong. The weather did suck (winds at like 20 mph) but other than that, it was just a big mistake. I missed my sit-ups by 5, and the last event is the run, so I didn't push myself as hard as I should've. This was on Saturday, today is now Tuesday. Yesterday, I ran 4 miles, well, ran the first mile, and did a work out regime that I got off the net specifically for Army people to help pass the 2-mile run event. It was really tough, I sweated so much! But, it was so worth it. I felt amazing afterwards. I plan on doing this 4-mile run 3x's a week.
My job at Goody's is heaven sent. I missed working there so much. I have no idea what it is, but it has a great small town clothing store feel. I love the smell of it when you walk into it. I know it's weird, but I love that place. If I could work there forever, I probably would. It's not giving me many hours (2 days a week) but it is giving me some extra money.
So, since I didn't pass my PT test, I won't be able to go down to Atterbury again to work down there for a year, but I am hopeful that there is still a position open for me once I do pass the PT test this upcoming drill (3 weeks away). Please pray for me!!
Well, other than that, nothing new is going on. Saving money, not going out, enjoying my time with my momma, watching amazing shows on Netflix, and trying to be fabulous.
Love!
