Another mass shooting in the US. That isn't even notable anymore. What is notable is that it targeted disabled people, specifically a centre for people with developmental disabilities. The commentary right now is either erasing this fact or framing it as extra-special-no-good-bad. The thing is, violence against disabled people is astoundingly common.

You are most assuredly not alone in being incredibly upset by society. I was unaware however ,of the violence against disabled people although a moment's reflection is enough to comprehend that psychologically weak people will always look for someone to hurt who will not be able to retaliate too aggressively. If you can't chase them  down, you provide a change of pace from anonymous internet bullying and they can feel even braver for being miserable face to face. It's only people who feel incapable of doing anything special who resort to seeking significance through being destructive. They're a sad lot. On another and nicer topic, you have a gift for turning out one wonderfully creative and altogether splendid set after another. I'm not a little impressed! 😍
