So, I've finally managed to come out of my rally induced coma. It was an awesome 3 days filled with fast cars, amazing views and wonderful people.
The Oregon Trail Rally is a 3 day event where cars of all classes are put to the clock and ultimate test as they drive at full speed on an array of driving surfaces and conditions. They race on gravel and tarmac on roads closed off to the public.
This year we were unable to compete, so we decided to give back to the rally community and volunteer for all 3 days.
If you enjoy fast cars and camping, I implore you to find a rally in your area and volunteer. It's an awesome opportunity to be out in nature and get as close to the rally cars as you can. You get to get up close and personal and even meet the drivers and talk with them at times.
The weekend was filled with every kind of weather short of snow. We endured high temps, crazy dust, cloudy, and down pours. I got to take the camera out and really put her to the test. I was happy with the outcome.
Here are a few of the shots I took at the event. If you'd like to take a look at all of them, feel free to check them out at---> Oregon Trail Rally 2014 <---
