After a very hard weekend with both races and a grueling leg conditioning session, I've decided to listen to my body and have a rest day. Slight worry about one stabilizer muscle in my left leg acted up during the last ascent on Sunday. That said it was a 500m drop over one km so pretty damned steep. Still happy with my second place finish at Muddy hell but now I am going to continue with my leg conditioning towards the Ultra Beast in Queensland in 2 months time. 42+ km with 50+ obstacles is going to be quite a challenge!
