So I have pretty much the rest of my year planned and already planned most of next year in terms of adventures and ways to push myself. Finally got around to sign up for the Spartan Ultra Beast in Brisbane September 6th then I have a couple of small but fun races around Victoria but the big ones await in January. Have a 5h, 12h

After a very hard weekend with both races and a grueling leg conditioning session, I've decided to listen to my body and have a rest day. Slight worry about one stabilizer muscle in my left leg acted up during the last ascent on Sunday. That said it was a 500m drop over one km so pretty damned steep. Still happy with my second place finish...

Had an absolute ball at the Mornington Peninsula Obstacle Racing Club yesterday. They had arranged a new obstacle race named Muddy Hell and it was awesome. The weather was cold and miserable, with plenty of water obstacles it left my hands and skin numb, I managed to get plenty of bruises and cuts this time because of it. I guess it is all part of...

The last day before heading back to another work week. What do you guys like to do on Sundays?

I am making myself some lovely oats with some malt and cinnamon to start of the day. Body feels good after a active rest day yesterday (39km or 24miles bike ride) so probably going to attempt a slow run and then head down to the gym....

Had a great day, it mostly revolved around food. Had amazing bacon, egg, sauteed mushrooms and toast for breakfast. Had a beef stir fry with lots and lots of colour (i.e carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, onion, chili, ginger) for lunch. Then an amazing chicken green curry, coconut rice and really nice roti bread with satay sauce as an apetizer. Now watching Wimbledon whilst having 2 slices...

Everything you've eaten today pretty much sounds amazing. Was it a thai curry? I love coconut rice!

@evee_ yup, it was a fantastic thai green currry! I discovered a brilliant little place here in Melbourne that makes just the tastiest ones and spot on coconut rice :D

Another day during my relaxing week, just because I can't run doesn't mean I can't go to the gym! Happy with 275lbs (125kg) deadlift and 165lbs (75kg) front squat . Also tried out some dumbells 27.5kg (60lbs) during bench press and 30kg (66lbs) during dumbell snatch. Haven't actually been in a gym for ages since I have been busy with Gut Check Fitness, so only...

Guess what? Running 100km during 25h is not great for your body! Lol. My knees have been quite sore the last week since I completed the challenge so have been forced to rest up since Saturday. I realized that I really need another hobby besides working out if I want to do bigger events since sometimes you might need to take a full month off...

Wow, first blog post i nearly a year. There is so much catching up on but thought I'd just use this one to finally start writing a little bit again. I really do love writing just that I end up not doing it.

So what have I been doing for the last year? Well I did have a successful move to Australia and everything that...

Really nothing going on here! I really wish it would hurry up and rain soon so we could get some fresh air out. It sucks to go out running any distances in this humidity...

That said it is now less than a month before I board the plane to move to Australia. Have nearly sorted out all of the stuff I have at my house...

I suppose that is a good reason! I think people are probably a bigger problem on Australia's eco system than some chinchillas would be though!

Australia, nice! Of course, Sweden's pretty nice, too, from what little I've seen. 37 hours is a long time to travel; hope everything goes smoothly.

Anyone else who have played the Ps3 game Catherine? Started just the other day and it is heaps of fun! Probably first time I have ever started playing a game on the easy level and had to use several continues.

Other than that I have just been immensely bored, nothing to do... The daily trip turned out to be to the local ice cream store...
