Had a great day, it mostly revolved around food. Had amazing bacon, egg, sauteed mushrooms and toast for breakfast. Had a beef stir fry with lots and lots of colour (i.e carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, onion, chili, ginger) for lunch. Then an amazing chicken green curry, coconut rice and really nice roti bread with satay sauce as an apetizer. Now watching Wimbledon whilst having 2 slices of toast, one with a nice organic honey spread and the other with a nut, cacao and flaxseed mix. So full!
Still not being able to run sucks, the pain of my leg is gone but want to stay off it for a little bit longer to make sure that the stabilizer doesn't get sore again. So tomorrow going out for a bike ride, hate push bikes but it's a lot better than doing nothing. Might even do some running technique and hit the gym but it depends on what the body is saying. I really need to increase my conditioning and clock up some milage in my legs, have the Spartan Ultra beast in a couple of months time and after that the amazing Gut Check Fitness Suck is coming up in January. If you haven't heard of that, give it a google :P I am hoping to be able to do well in them... Strong man is not my best so will have to increase strength, so have lots of bucket carry to do. Last time I did an overnight challenge, I had to carry the 22.5kg (roughly 50lbs) in each hand for about 8km (5miles) that was up hills and during rough terrain as well.
Will probably schedule to see How to Train your Dragon 2 on Tuesday! I am dying to see it, really love the first one!!
