Hey, y'all!
Been a very long time since a last blog entry but life has just been too busy and a shitload of things have occured in my life to keep me away from the computer.
Somehow I ended up being the new group owner of SG Sweden! Exciting to be running a group and hopefully I can managed to get it a little bit more busy than what it has been. So any questions or just general curiousity about Sweden, don't be shy just start a group and hopefully get some answers from Swedes or just informed people on this site. That said I will start a couple of, what I find, interesting discussion over the next couple of weeks and see if there is anyone joining up in the discussions.
Sad note, great grandma died 2 weeks back. She was 97 and despite her age her brain was chrystal clear. She lived by herself and did not require much if any assistance. She had a helper just bringing grocieries daily and she loved having long (up to an hour) walks a day. The death is nearly taken out of a fairly tail. She woke up, had a coffie, during a sunny spring day, out on the balcony. Decided that she was still a bit tired and cuddled up in bed before falling asleep. She never woke out of that short nap... Honestly though, can anyone think of a more peaceful and dignified ending? Sure we never got to give her a proper goodbye on a hospital bed or anything like that, although is that really an experience you want to have? I think not. I remember my last time seeing her, she was in a cheerful mood. I shook her hand as she was leaving and said goodbye, confident we would see each other again soon enough...
Probably won't hit me that she is gone until the burial this Wednesday...
Anyhow I have been working crazy amounts of overtime so look forward to the next pay cheque. Most of it will be spent for travells to upcoming tennis tournaments though. Hopefully I will win a couple of games although my shape could be better. Not that I have been ignoring training of late just that with so much stuff happening focus is quite hard to come by :/
