After a very hard weekend with both races and a grueling leg conditioning session, I've decided to listen to my body and have a rest day. Slight worry about one stabilizer muscle in my left leg acted up during the last ascent on Sunday. That said it was a 500m drop over one km so pretty damned steep. Had an absolute ball at the Mornington Peninsula Obstacle Racing Club yesterday. They had arranged a new obstacle race named Muddy Hell and it was awesome. Had a great day, it mostly revolved around food. Had amazing bacon, egg, sauteed mushrooms and toast for breakfast. Had a beef stir fry with lots and lots of colour (i.e carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, onion, chili, ginger) for lunch. Then an amazing chicken green curry, coconut rice and really nice roti bread with satay sauce as an apetizer. Now watching Wimbledon whilst having 2 slices...
