Ah, the warm, sweet air of spring. smile

It broke 70 degrees yesterday for the first time this year, and hit 72 today. So much for April showers - it's nothing but sun, sun, sun! Got the tomatoes in the ground, and also planted a cherry and a plum tree - the fruiting kind, not the ornamentals. They probably won't fruit for a couple years, but...

doesn't it, though? and it is a good thing. i bought one of the books you recommended for me today. it was a small leap but i know i could use a little nonviolent communication, esp. in times like these...thanks. i've been to olympia once and really liked it. it seemed a very magical place.

nice! i am jealous. there is no ground where i live that i can plant good things in (there is this disgusting patch of dirt, however, that the nieghborhood cats use as their toilet...the horror that day when i looked down after becoming distracted to see my son holding a cat turd). i lived in oregon for 10 years and if i don't move back there someday, i will always miss it. love, love, love the pacific nothwest!!!

Got a new carbon steel wok today. smile Stunk up the whole house seasoning it, and then made some mediocre stir-fry. frown My wok rocks, though! I'm gonna be a kick-ass kung fu wok master. I just need some good recipes.

It's grey and green out the window. Rumbling in the distance. Innocence sleeps next door like a baby. I spill in fear. I hold back. I breath deeply, and let it go.

Red flowers, green leaves, pine needles, cold breeze.

Saturday, and it's raining again.

And I'm still hiding.
