Wow, so things have been insane.
My mom broke her wrist friday. She slipped and fell on the sidewalk, hit her head too. She called me at work and I had to go pick her up and take her to the emergency room. I stayed up there with her all night. Then she had surgery in the morning. Friday and Saturday just kinda run together into one big long day for me. Thank god for my sister-in-law, MissMorbus... she came up to the hospital and relieved me saturday morning, so I was able to go home and take a shower and grab something to eat. Definitly helped get rid of the "I'm going to either pass out or be sick feeling" So I really appreciated that she came up there on such short notice. (since my brother was working).
And Mom's been home since saturday evening. So I've been running after her getting her whatever she needs, as well as doing all the chores in the house, all the shopping, and paying all the bills for her. Then today her arm was swelling up so I had to take her to the doctor and get a new cast on it. It just seems like one thing after another. I think maybe I've gotten 5 hours of sleep since friday.
I feel so sorry for her tho, she's in a lot of pain. It's not like I mind at all, I'd do whatever she wants... I just want a break for a minute or two.
And of course all that happened, so I never got to see Shawn before he left (we were supposed to go out for sushi friday) Of course mom felt the need to apologize to me for "ruining my night" (even tho she doesn't like him much, lol) but its not like it really matters... he doesn't want me, so whats the point anyway?? I guess I just wanted to see him again. oh well I need to forget about him.
