Let's see going to jury duty and going to work on the same day...then staying late at work a bit...makes me sleeeeeepppppyyyyyy....this civil trial will last two weeks, but until then, I should use my free time wisely. I might add there's a lot of fast food in Jamaica, Queens, I'm actually a few pounds heavier aftereating for two days. Wish me luck on my physical on Oct. 6th!
I did go out today, mainly for chores, buying a Camelbak water bottle, and an OXO water strainer and stopper. Not very exicting, huh? Good, because I can rest.
In the mail came three items: 250GB Western Digital Passport portable hard drive, JLA: Tower of Babel, and the Vertigo Encyclopedia...the latter I LOVE it!!!! I definitely recommend it.
As my friend is sick today and probably tomorrow, instead of hanging out with her, I will go to the Brooklyn Book Festival tomorrow. hould be fun. You can read all about it here.
Now this Wednesday, I have an urge to try hand crafted beer.....you know that Germany has all these beer festivals...butwhat about NYC? Well, there is one! This week is the NYC Craft Beer Week. You can read about it here. I reserved a spot for myself in Heartland Brewery where I will try hand crafted beer with each course in the menu. I pray I will be sober the next day for jury duty. LOL.
Oh, and I get a free mug commemorating the event.

Have fun on jury duty. Here's the thing: I have never been on a jury, but I wish that I could just for the experience. Now that I'm almost out of law school it is HIGHLY unlikely that anyone would put me on a jury though. Oh well!
