Well, folks, today is an early blog from me, as I will head out in 45 minutes. I'm going with my friend to Paprika, which seem to be a common theme for me this month. Then we will head out to see an Ugg Boot store nearby. Personally, after that, I think I will browse around bookstores and comic book stores before going home....and to get some groceries.
By the way, I definitely recommend the Star Trek: The Original Series Remastered! It's definitely not like the Star Wars Special Edition movies, where they actually changed the original meanings of the movies by adding scenes that are are controversial among the fan community. I'm talking about scenes like in the the Return of the Jedi where Hayden Christiansian replaced David Prowse in the final "ghost" scene and Greedo shooting first in Star Wars: A New Hope. Yeah, so if you are evil, you come back as a good-looking, youthful ghost...and Han Solo's not really a rogue...uh-huh. Right.
The Star Trek: The Original Series Remastered (in Amazon.com, Season 1: $104.95, Season 2: $59.99) merely enhanced the visuals...like a planet looking like a planet, with continents, clouds, different colors (unlike..just a green planet), etc, and when the Enterprise gets damaged, you actually see battle damage on the Enterprise...and you know what? Some of the lame episodes (that Trekkies considered) actually look so good, the episode itself became that much better for it....it's no longer lame. And the classic episodes? Wow. That is "remastering"!!!!
Geez, Lucas should have taken a playbook from Paramount. He shouldn;t have re-did Star Wars and then sucked up the franchise. Heck, I sold all my Star Wars DVDs after watching all six films!!! I enjoy it, but somehow, it seems more like eye-candy. The classic untouched Star Wars DVD versions are much more superior than the Special Editions somehow...
I would love to hear your thoughts on this!

Must admit i was big into Enterprise for like the first 7 episodes but i really didn't care much for it after that. Will probably give them another chance one day but i wasn't overly impressed..... Looked nice tho.
just saw the new clone wars cartoon / film. Wasn't to bad but really didn't need a cinema release.
