I cannot wait to see "The Dark Knight" this Saturday!
For now, I'm going through my comic book and trade paperback collection, and realizing I am lacking space. Among other things, I have a few statues, an Ecopod, photography books, art books and books. How you all store your collections for your various hobbies is beyond me, I hope you all have suggestions as to how to store them.
I was thinking of renting more storage space, however, I can't afford yet another monthly charge.
The alternative: Donate my collectibles. The magazine Comics Foundry recommended this website: http://www.collectibleswithcauses.org It's for a good cause, and, not to sound selfish, there's a tax write off for the value of your collectible. So my Ultimate Spider-Man #1 can possibly have a $110 tax write off (that's how much my comic is worth). It sounds neat, and it's a good way to reclaim my space while "having my money back".
