There is a bird outside my window screaming. The bird screams outside my window every night from midnight till 6 AM. I hate the bird. I tried to kill it one night with my slingshot. I missed and the bird flew to another tree and kept screaming.. bird.. hate.. *squee*squee!!*
The other day i stood in the shower for 15 minutes after the water stopped. The water on my hair and skin dripped off and at the end of 15 minutes i was pretty dry. It was... interesting.
That same night i went out onto the roof of the house and laid flat on the roof to look at the stars. Cant see them very well, but it was nice to just stare at the sky and think. Before climbing up to the roof i had seen a cat down by the car in the driveway. Now i looked across the roof and saw the cat about 10 feet away, looking at me. Guess it got curious and followed me up. Wanted to pet it, but it was jumpy and wouldnt let me come near.
Life is full of strange little moments that we never tell anyone about. Little things we see or feel that we think are too insignificant to share with others. A little string sticking from a couch, a leaf that blew in the wind for 30 seconds, a lizard eating a roach. Each of our lives have these amazing little scenes that to me, are one of the most beautiful forms of art. Just a moment, time and chance, to create a unique visual, evoke a strange lost emotion. They are everywhere, and yet oftentimes we are too busy to see them, to stop, step off the ride of life and watch life from the outside.
I used to see a spec of dirt or birdshit or something on the windshield of a car, and pretend the spec was my targeting mechanism for my imaginary gun. When the spec passed over something i wanted to shoot, i'd think *BOOM* and in my mind the object or person was toast. Fun way to pass the time on a roadtrip. Especially when that family with the little bratty kid passes you and the kid is plastered to the back window flipping you off. Even those moments in a sense can be beautiful. Maybe the bratty kid doesn't understand that in his fun, he's also enriched my life too.
I try to make peoples lives interesting. I want them to see something different. I sit on my roof. I climb huge poles, jump across gaps between buildings, Stand in the middle of a dark room at night. When you go outside Make some art for somebody and go hug a telephone pole. When you go back inside and try to think of an idea remember all the little things you saw when you were outside. Art is everything. Its everywhere. We see it, we create it.. we LIVE it.
except for the bird. i hate the bird.

There is another artist on this sight though he won't admit it. Drop by and lay some of this on him. Actually the string on the couch thing came up in his journal a few months ago...interesting.
Anyway good to meet you...wanted to see the two shaded eye woman for myself
