Ok, so I went to the Leeds festival yesterday.
And did I see the SG Burlesque?
Did I fuck.
I went to the caberet tent at the time it was supposed to be on, but the Dirty Sanchez guys were still "performing".
I decided to stay and wait until they'd finished, and as the people who'd come to watch Dirty Sanchez were leaving (sickos) push my way to the front.
Just as I though the SGB was going to start, some guy comes on and says "Sorry everythings running so late, but here's '10 Minutes With Your Dad'". Then two scraggy haired girls come on and start singing some crap. Apparently they were stripping as well, but I soon found out that even though I was only about 4 or 5 yards fron the front, I couldn't actualy see a damn thing.
So instead of standing through that bilge to wait for the SGs to come on, and then not be able to see them, and to take pictures nowhere near as good as the ones I can see on here in the comfort of my own home, I decided to go home.
It was already past midnight, I'd been stood up, crushed in sweaty stinking crowds, and nearly trampled to death by horrible young people, since 11.30 am. and I still had a two hour drive home ahead of me.
So I guess I'll wait until the SG Burlesque finds a halfway decent venue to play in the UK before I get to see the girls in the flesh.
Apart from that, the festival was good, more later.
