I spent the weekend in beautiful Harrogate. 
At a trade convention.
I stayed at one of the best hotels, all expenses paid by my boss.
I got so pissed I missed breakfast, had to go straight to the convention, had to come home straight after, so never got to use the pool, sauna, etc.

The book the poem is from is about 800 years old, while the poem is probably 1400 or so. Certain words may have changed meaning since then or with Welsh and Gaelic some words have multiple meanings, could be that but I'm not too sure My screen name is gaelic and roughly means Black Adder
