Hee hee hee! Set construction (or destruction) disasters are always fun. Well, unless you hurt somebody. The ladder is a totally acceptable casualty, though.
Thanks to everyone who replied to my chump conundrum.
On a different topic, my best friend and his girlfriend are getting hitched down in vegas during the 'Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly weekender' by Vegas Elvis at the little chapel.

-Am I A Chump?
I took a ride home tonight from friends rather than sleep with a person who has a partner, who told me flat out they hadn't been laid in 2 weeks.
1- I don't wanna be the guy who breaks up their relationship.
2- The relationship is very nearly done any way.
3- I r really drunk right now.
uh, you def. did the right thing....you don't want that shitting drama. wait until the relationship is for sure over before you even go there. people say shit like "oh, we're broken up/divorced/know about this" etc and most of the time theyre lying. you are very much the un-chump. kudos.
The good news: you end up looking like a sweet, gentlemanly guy
The bad news: you didn't get laid
The good news: your chances of getting laid on a regular basis in the future are much higher now, as she will continue to respect you
The bad news: you probably don't want to date her even after the relationship breaks up, since a pathetic TWO WEEKS without sex is enough to drive her to cheat. that's what vibrators are for.
In conclusion: relax, o sexually-frustrated one. you rock and you dodged a bullet there.

Friday, I stopped and realised that at the end of the work day I was drinking at the Auburn with the Technical Director of Alberta theatre projects and the Head stage-carpenter of Theatre Calgary. I had to take a step back and enjoy the moment. I've come a long way from digging ditches.
glad you're all busy and shiznit.
