Aaaah, the countdown is on until my mans first paycheck. Unfortunately, it wont be before xmas, but FORTUNATELY there are some AMAZING ppl on this site who have *huge* ♥'s and have decided to help save my sons xmas!! My gratitude is immense!!

U guessed it, no job yet. Im getting a little discouraged. Enough of that!!
My painting is still for sale, oddly enough. If you care to see it, its in my last journal. $100 for a 16x20 is a steal, it cost abt that just in supplies for christ sake!
***RANT OF THE WEEK!!!***
What would you think abt a friend of yours who just suddenly got up and walked out of the room while you were holding a conversation with them, no explanation .. no "hold on a minute", NOTHING? What abt if your friend HUNG UP the phone during a story you were telling them one day, without a 'good-bye', or without a call back explaining why they just rudely disconnected?
Wouldnt you think that was rude OR disrespectful? I know I certainly would!
Then let me ask u this:
WHY do we do that when we're talking to ppl ONLINE in an instant messaging conversation?
I sure know *IM* guilty as charged!!

Happy
1. I have the greatest daughter. She rocks. Every day she reminds me that life is good.
2. I have been doing some work I enjoy lately.
3. I have the best bossever. You should introduce yourself. She is awesome. And a great friend too.
4. I am actually making payments on my student loans.
5. I am no longer afraid I may lose my home.
6. Most of my friends are really great.
7. I have discovered that some of the people I miss from SG are out there on the net. I just had to look for them.
8. I have known what it was to really love someone. Some people never get that.
9. I have managed to keep off most of the weight that I lost a little over 4 years ago.
10. I have 4 beautiful cats. I love them with all my heart.
Unsatisfied.
1. My daughter plans to move out this year. I will miss her so much.
2. I still hate most of the work I do.
3. Strega is only my part time boss. And the nonprofit she started and runs is barely staying afloat. When she graduates in May (yes, my "boss" is just a student. Some of my lawyer friends find this amusing. I couldn't be prouder. She saw a need and filled that void while she was in her 1st year of law school. I wish I had half that much courage and drive.) She might just decide to take over the job I am doing now. I wouldn't blame her. Once she has her degree she won't really need me. But I will miss it.
4. I will never pay my loans off. No matter how hard I try.
5. I am still broke. And that is not likely to change any time soon
6. Some of my "friends" really suck, But I have trouble letting them go. I get hurt a lot and it's because I let it happen.
7. I no longer feel comfortable or welcome in my local SG group. I can't really say why. It just feels different.
8. It was a tragic love. Doomed from the start.
9. I am slowly gaining the weight back. And with my newly developed back, hip and leg pain it is hard to work out like I once did.
10. Two of my cats are getting very old. I know I will lose them soon. It breaks my heart.
