Today was good - bummed around mostly...
Went to White Rock for a bit, then hit the good ol` USA for something a little different.
Then went to Bellingham and tried an independent burger place called "Boomers". They have awesome milkshakes. The rest of the fare was pretty average - the Boomers Burger was a cheeseburger soaked in thousand island dressing, the waffle fries were pretty boring, and the onion rings were nothing worth writing home about - but again, the milk shakes are to die for.
After that, hit a few used bookstores, and headed home. Bellingham is a pretty cool little city - lots more to see and explore over the coming years.
Harrington`s books, and Michael`s Books in downtown Bellingham are both exceptional places... and you head north of the border into Abbotsford, be sure to check out a little bookstare called "Hemmingway`s" - the store is smaller, but they have a lot of hard to find stuff, and awesome staff too.
