I'm traumatized.
I spent over 300 dollars today, despite having no money.
What did I get, you might ask?
Well, being annoyed by some things I was seeing (or not) I went for an eye exam today. End result?
Yeah. I had to buy some glasses.
Nothing major - 0.5 in each eye... but wow.
I'm used to having eagle eyes - better than perfect vision.
And now, it's compromised.
It's either glasses, or maybe having an easier time finding girls to ogle - after all, with blurry vision, flaws are harder to find. Heck, if I went blind, I could get over dealing with all my appearance issues.
It's not that I find certain people unattractive, just more that I only find a limited number of people attractive.
I'm not going to list those things here, because really - dating isn't shopping, and neither am I... just seemed like something that could be listed as a plus of having blurry vision *lol*
But... no, I took it badly, and bought a $300 pair of frames, that weight nothing - apparently light, comfortable glasses = expensive. All told, I got a 20% discount, my coverage at work paid $200 of it, and I still had to pay $250 bucks. Not tax.
Damned things are bloody expensive!
As of Monday, I get to look like a more intellectual me.
But... I can still see well enough that I'll leave them at home if I'm going on a bender - after all, who needs to see when you're drunk, right?

Personally I can't see the screen of my computer without mine on, thats why I have so many spelling mistakes. But I'm cute so I get away with it
Like now, I am totoally blind as far at the computer goes, but I have a date and don't want ugly red marks on my nose. Talk about being self concious.
Anywhoooo, I wish you got two days off more often too, then you could come see me.
If it makes you feel any better I paid like 375 for my frames and I am missing a very improtant screw all of sudden so my lens may pop out at any time.
hehe, that almost sounds dirty.
Sorry my brains all over the place.
Did I mention I have a date,
I am just a little excited, hense my train of thought being all over the place.
So I miss you tonnes
Now you get to see all the ugly people
They don't cover glasses with that canadian health care program?
