Yeah, I know I'm not really a god...
but it was fun to write all that crap, because it actually made enough sense.
Really - I do like it when people call me god, preferably during wild sex when they're having quivering and numbing problems in their extremities.
Some days, I really miss sex *lol*
IN other knews, while I was suffering these delusions of grandoise nature, I finished books 4 and 5 of the Harry Potter series, and I'm not kicking myself (in the shin, although if I could reach, I'd probably kick myself in the nuts) because I could have procrastinated a bit, and finished book 5 in time to buy or obtain from the library, book 6. Now I have to wait until July to find out what happens next, and who knows how long until book 7 comes out.
I guess I could catch up on Douglas Adams (still working on The Salmon of Doubt), Robert Jordan (don't get sucked into that series... he'll never live to finish it, at the rate he's going), and the Chicks in Chainmail series... I also found a new Heinlein novel (okay - really old, but just recently published for the first time).
Do I look forlorn enough?
If anyone knows where I might find a complete set of the "Sten" series by Alan Cole and Chris Bunch, please do tell... it's older, but utterly spectacular. Apparently they set out to mock the Sci-Fi genre, and they accidentally redefined it with one of the best written and more entertaining series ever written.
And nobody has it.
I've tried Chapters, Coles, Indigo, Smithbooks, Barnes and Noble, Waldenbooks, and some dumb discount bookstore just outside of Birch Bay, Washington.
I really want these books, to read again :/
*update* Barnes and Noble does indeed have it on their website... so I'm going to drive down and special order me some books on Wednesday
