Yep, the Marquis is not talking to me for some reason.

Went out yesterday with another OK Cupid match. I have in my profile a warning about 'damaged fish' -- intended to warn against me and that I'm probably not the girl of anyone's dreams -- but I'm seeing it with the available guys, too. Yesterday was an Irishman with cancer. I've also gone out...

Happened across Mr. Hat this evening and this is the third time in a row I've seen him without any hats... (to his detriment; he was looking very sunburnt a couple days ago, his face and the top of his bald head.) He may require a new nickname at this rate.

I'm apparently burning way too many calories... yesterday I ate two peanut butter and...

Woke up today and the first thing on my mind was the Marquis.

Horrors! This is how it begins... the nightmare that is how I experience human affection...
kay:
ha ha. Wow. I just got back to town and caught up on your adventures. The photos are lovely by the by and happy belated.

I love Wyoming, but it would be better if it had castles.

Today I ate a peanut butter and honey sandwich, a lot of bread and butter, and macaroni and cheese with peas and tuna added.

I'm also finding I get on well with guys who have curled/handlebar mustaches.

My apologies for missing the actual day, since I know when it is. blackeyed

You are definitely not middle aged by any stretch of the imagination!

I hope you have an enjoyable trip.

Quitting while you are ahead is the way to go!eeek

Dating I'd like anything involving personal power. Begin with the end in mind. What do you want from a guy? Define that in whatever's terms get you where you need to be.

My skin's been much clearer all in all in Edinburgh than it was in Santa Fe for the last 4 or so months before I left... I noticed in York my skin cleared up almost totally... and now I'm back to getting a few pimples... I'm wondering if my pillows might be too unclean, so I washed one of them in boiling water. (The washer...

I know you can find some interesting people back here in the states!
As for the guys, new ones may be in order. eeek

Even if you could figure out a way to stay in Edinburgh, there would still be the question of income. If I have read your updates correctly, your living costs currently exceed your income (correct me if I am wrong). Back in Santa Fe, I presume that you didn't have to pay rent (you lived with your family didn't you?) so, right from the start, that's a big extra expense that you need to cover. Of course, you might make money by writing more books but over the past few months have you spent much time writing? Best of luck figuring it out! smile

"Wow. That's why I love this site. Just when I think I'm unique, and open-minded, I talk to people, like you. And am totally put back in my place."

--a fellow SG user, apparently after learning that real live men I've had can (and do) like to *be* fisted.

I was never meant to be famous. I'll have to try something obscure next, I suppose... wink

How do you respond to that?

It strikes me I've had as many health problems/serious injuries in the last 9 months as I think I had in the previous 10 years.

I think someone may have put a jinx on me...

I have no medical expertise, whatsoever. So you can trust me when I say that, you're gonna be just fine.

hmmmm....

How do you counter that?

I've been using OK Cupid to meet folks here in Edinburgh. Currently have gone out with 2 Scots, both of whom boast of being perverts and mentioned having dungeons in their homes (I think the first guy takes the cake though, he's like De Sade reincarnated. Kept feeling like Kate Winslet in that movie "Quills" -- going to end up dead in a washtub for...

Haven't thought to try iStockphoto but will give it a look and Redbubble, cheers!
I figured it'd be easier to have the download option, saves finding deals on prints and postage and packaging costs.
