Been too busy painting and sewing to do much Christmas shopping, so today was the run out and buy shit day. I bought scratchers for most of my outer family members. I also got some bacon flavor Bloody Mary rimming-salt for myself.
The dress I sewed for myself is coming out well-made but not as pretty as I'd hoped. It seems it's going to demand... Read More
Bacon flavour bloody Mary rimming-salt? I've no idea what it is but it sounds interesting
Would love to see a picture of you in your dress when it's done
Going through my SG friends list, eliminating anyone who I never hear from AND who seems to themselves have a friends list composed entirely of females. (You're probably fine if you're one or another.)
Firstly sorry you're feeling lonely and unhappy, it sucks and I wish there was a magic wand I could wield on your behalf, I think Edinburgh will be a good move for you and I wish you all the best in getting over here.
Just scanned back through a few missed blogs and was amazed to see the amount of snow, but now I realize your in Sante Fe (and not in California as I wrongly assumed from your profile) will explain why you questioned me over the weather, you may be pleased to know that the ice age grip that had a hold on us a week ago has turned into a balmy 8degrees, torrential rain and flooding and next week it will probably be spring.
Your art work as always is awesome, I wish I could paint like that and congrats on the book, you're one talented lady.
What are you doing for Christmas?
Take care and be well
This book has pre orders because, for the first time, I did not self publish the book. Yep, a real publisher took this one. Of course, that means I won't actually get any of the money from this book for months to come; but the real reason I sent this one to... Read More
When Robin now three days had married been,
And all his friends and neighbors gave him joy,
This question to his wife he asked then --
Why till her marriage day she prov'd so coy?
"Indeed," said he, "'twas well thou didst not yield,
For doubtless then my purpose was to leave thee."
"O... Read More
I am touched by your poignant comment; the first response to a woman's body can be so beautiful or so very unkind - an unkindness often based in the arrogant laziness of male sexuality. My gf has small and uneven breasts and is very shy about them - and her 6 foot height; her mother is well endowed and has spent a lifetime strapping down her chest to near boyish proportions - evidently incarnating her rejection of her sexuality in her daughter's body. My first 'job' as my gf's lover was - and still is - to guide her to see her body as I see it - a sweet, youthful, passionate vehicle for her love and strength, not as a living failure contrasted to some unmet photoshopped model (who no doubt is burdened with her own body issues). so, I wish for you the honest appreciation of what you offer to your lover, and the banishment of your discomfortable experiences!
In response to the post above: I've never understood the attraction to virgins. And in response to your comment on my blog... oh, I never tell them those things. I teach them English, not morals.
Curiously warm winter in Santa Fe so far. We'd have usually gotten our first snow sometime in October, but here it is December and we've still had no snow, and today for my mile-and-a-half walk to the post office (three miles when return is considered) I didn't even need to put on socks.
Contrary to common belief, Santa Fe is not a warm place. We... Read More
I own land in Scotland, not too far away from a loch which is open to the sea......I wouldn't be wearing a kilt anytime in winter....and only on a few days in summer!
