Went out with my parents this evening to the Dairy Queen in Pojoaque where we each ordered 2 types of mini Blizzard and shared them all. I thought the three best were the banana split, Georgia mud and Snickers. My parents really liked the Hawaiian one but I didn't love it quite the same. There was also a chocolate turtle one that mostly tasted like caramel, and one I didn't like much that was strawberry cheesecake flavor.
I sold 3 paintings (it was a set of 3) -- my first sale in oils. Yay! I am making a copy of Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring right now that was intended to go to a consignment shop in town that sells fancy things. It's a more difficult painting to copy than I imagined though, so we'll see if they want to give me a reasonable amount for it. Otherwise I might just keep it because it's a good copy.
