I'm not sure I like this site's new "Followers Only" option for blog posts -- seems pointless, since it appears anyone can choose to follow you. What's the difference between that and Members Only, then? I think at some point I'm going to have to go through my blog and blank out a few old posts... And why can't they just make a Delete Post option? [Edit: Oooh, they did make a delete option at last! Goody!]
So anyway. Been my usual Santa Fean mopey and putting on weight (as opposed to Scottish mopey and losing weight). Business isn't bringing me satisfactory income -- pretty much everything I do needs to earn about 10x what it does. Like the Gibson Girl blog, earns about $15 a month from the ads these days. It requires a bit too much work to merit that, at this point, and so unless I think of some new ways to get a lot more followers/people clicking ads I might let that blog start to slip. I haven't gotten any new customers since I moved my hoodoo spells over to the Spellcaster's blog, but maybe just as well given my new method of trying to attract only people who won't make me crazy. I have gotten a few sales at Lucky Temple of the De Laurence spells, though I'm still trying to perfect the Don't Talk To Me mechanism. I'm spending $13 a month to have a mailing list there and blew $50 on some more ineffective Google Ads (I need to stop putting any hope into those, they never get me customers.) I think I'm going to keep the mailing list for 3 months and if I don't seem to be getting any increase in customers/repeat business from people on it by then, I'll get rid of it.
So, yeah. Still hoping to die soon.
