Finally got our first snow of the year in Santa Fe. When I was heading out for work it was just beginning to snow: two hours later we were told the museum was closing early because there was already 5 inches.

I love the smell of snow in New Mexico - the moisture (in the woods anyway) releases so many fragrances, adds such silence to the world.
