Today I ate haggis nachos.
I don't think I've enjoyed myself so much in a long time! Even stupid grocery store items are fantastic (the butter! the honey! the peanut butter! the 2 liter bottle of alcoholic cider! egg salad from the discount rack!) There's all kinds of weird history things to do. I saw a great jazz band called TJ Muller and the Dixie Six just playing in the street. You can walk on crags! The graveyards are the best I know of! The only complaint at all I have is how cold it is here, and had I just packed a little differently that would be remedied.

...and despite my loyalty to the Westcountry, I have to say that Gwynt Y Ddraig Gold Medal Cider (a Welsh cider) is one of the best I have ever tasted.
