I got my passport today (that was quick -- 20 days from the cashing of the check.) I can now seriously plot going places!
I also renewed my domains and hosting for www.lucky-temple.com for 2 years -- so it looks like I'm staying in the occult business, in some form, for at least that long. It cost about $65 a year, with coupons (and by the way, I strongly advise anyone who uses GoDaddy to check retailmenot.com for coupons before buying anything from them.) At this point I am starting to get the customer problems there under control: effectively removing the fortune telling helped a lot. I also tried to make the occult books aStore a little more clear in its operating procedure and that seems to have helped.
And so far the computer hasn't acted wrong since the visit to the Apple store, and I also bought overpriced screen cleaner while I was there so there aren't greasy fingerprints and sneeze-splatters all over my screen anymore. Yay!
