Been in Minnesota 1 day and already found 3 jobs to apply for (though one was a scammy Craigslist "models needed" ad where it says that pay is negotiable, and so they try to convince you that crappy swag and adding this work to your portfolio or resume should be enough compensation. This was extra horrible, they also added as a perk a "chance to win a $250 gift certificate." Actually, that ad amusingly specified that they didn't want Goths or Suicide Girls, though since I'd just be wearing the makeup and outfit they would give me I don't know how that would make any difference -- maybe they meant they just didn't want tattoos or piercings?)
