Was looking into joining the Co-Masons (mixed-gender Freemasons) but unfortunately the nearest lodge is 250 miles away, so there's no way I'd be able to travel up there twice a month for meetings -- even if I did have a car. Oh, well.
I'm still working on a bit of home improvement stuff, and today bought some new hardware for an armoire that was a cast-off from my sister, and the knobs on which are all mismatched. The thing actually needs to be repainted too, but I don't know that I'll have time for that for a while to come.
I'm hoping to be able to resume my Beaumarchais translation in the near future, I just need to get into the right mindset for it again.

Interesting. First time I've heard of Co-Masons, but a quick look at the history is fascinating. I can see why one would want to pursue this branch of Freemasonry. 250 mikes is quite a hike, though.
