Business has been pretty good this week, so I was able to make use of a 40% discount at Borders and buy a Blackadder DVD set. (Interestingly, with tax the final price just about matched what Amazon's selling the thing for.)
I also got a free DVD of Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. God knows how it came down to this, but I was walking down the street and found a relatively undamaged DVD just laying there on the sidewalk -- it looks like it's a little scratched but not worse than what one usually has the misfortune to pick up from a Hastings rental. Never seen it but my parents seem to think it is something I'd like. I hear it's already being remade.

They are making a version of it here, the trilogy of books which it is the first of have all been been made into films in Sweden where it was written, and so they are making Hollywood versions. If they do as well as the Swedish ones as far as taking the book and adapting it to the screen, well then they should have a hit.
