Wrote an angry letter to the maintainers of the website where I had to check for notices about my jury duty. I was told to check every Friday for updates, and I checked as told always during times the Western calendar deems to be Friday.

Well apparently I get up a bit early for the updaters of the site. If I hadn't gotten another of my weird 'hunches' (gotta compliment Rev. Jim on his Psychic Vision Oil) I'd have not suddenly felt a strange urge to recheck the site this evening, around midnight, and discover -- that I'm actually due for jury service first thing in the morning.

This failure on the part of the site updaters being akin, in my view, to a friend bringing drugs to my house or lending me a stolen bike to ride, I wrote a pretty fucking angry letter to the site maintainers, given that their failure to update the site promptly could have gotten me in a fair bit of legal trouble!


In any case, since it's easier for me to stay up all night than to have tried to get to sleep then wake up again in time to be at court at 8:30, I am sucking down coffee like crazy and trying to find a way to not feel angry so I won't kill someone on arriving at court and wind up in trouble anyway.
