I'm going to be crazy busy this next week it seems -- my new book La Commedia Inglese is ready and I'm waiting for it to go live on Amazon before I go into full promo mode (because people seem to prefer to buy from Amazon, even though I personally benefit more from a Createspace sale.) Meanwhile, my other book Marriage la Mode didn't turn out well -- the cover was too ugly, so I get to spend time figuring out what to do about that.
Additionally, my Randle Cotgrave French dictionary arrived, which will make translation projects easier. And also arrived today, my Theatre Complet de Beaumarchais, so I've got plenty to translate! Also am technically still working on the Harlequin, Emperor of the Moon translation though that's of lesser priority to many of the things afoot right now.
I also had started writing a lame ebook aimed at stupid 13 year olds who want to be a model -- I figured just writing the book and getting them to pay me $6 for it will save me much trouble in trying to be helpful and freshly typing out all this info every time, while also giving me a bit more incentive to deal with them. Yahoo Answers and even my job as a fortune teller/conjure doctor gets a lot of would-be models coming my way, who need simple English explanations of the most basic things about how modeling works.
Related, I probably have another shoot later this week if the photographer and the designer follow through. (I don't know how serious this guy really is, I was having a lot of trouble getting him to name an actual amount of money he's paying.)
And a friend of mine is coming to town on Friday so I'll be making a point to visit with him. That's Jim at the Church of Good Luck.
I think these matters may trump priority in getting my Gainborough pictures done, but that too is still on the list.
