I keep wanting to buy books, even though I am lately so busy making books I'm unlikely in the near future to read any of them. Recent purchases include:
Little Dorrit, by Charles Dickens
The Thames Torso Murders by R. Michael Gordon
Magical Rituals for Money by Donna Rosa
Theatre Complet by Pierre Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais
I think some it's partially some of that magical like-breeds-like logic feeding this -- a sense that, if I buy books, then maybe people will imitate this action, and will buy my books. Then I also keep trying to buy them through astore links of sites I find useful or informative, sort of a way to help out my favorite bloggers etc. Anyway, I really want to buy some more stuff, but I must resist at this point.

Ohhh, that is really cool that you publish books. I always wanted to write a book and publish it.
