just had a tooth pulled. Woo.
Actually it was more pleasant than getting a filling usually is -- they use strong anesthetic for an extraction. I didn't feel anything at all, I just heard a bunch of cracking noises. Of course, now I keep biting my tongue, in waiting for it to wear off. Cost was about $100 more than I hoped but I figured it wasn't going to get any cheaper -- not like dental surgeons have sales.
So now that stupid sideways wisdom tooth in the back is gone. Yaaayy. Now I get to spend $450 more on fillings and a cleaning (I may cancel the cleaning though...)
In other news, I need to figure out an affordable way to make 8 double-sided grant packets for that Beaumarchais translation grant. Kinkos would be like $35, but they don't want to make the copies for me and I think I'd produce another $20 in mistakes on top of that, left on my own. Ah! Spirit of de Beaumarchaus, if you'd have your plays in English, find me free copiers!
