Much as I like the concept of the traffic exchange, it's caused more problems than it's worth. My other computer where I've been doing the surfing from (I'm on my sister's rejected Mac right now) has gotten some kind of virus where it will try to redirect you to advertising pages at random; for example, I did a google search and got a result at Wikipedia I wanted to see. I clicked the Wikipedia link; I was taken to a list of ads. I initially figured "Oh, some smart-Alec figured out how to make the wiki page redirect to his own site," and figured that would be solved soon. But then the next page, on another well-known site, did the same thing. I'm hoping that AVG takes care of this.
I wrote a letter to that company I was using, TrafficG or whatever, complaining and telling them why they need to come up with some sort of quality control, and why it is to their advantage to start some.
My current goals for www.TaliasTarot.com are to increase the search ranking.
My goals for my books (and I am particularly focusing on my illustrated Fanny Hill and on my Death and Destruction spellbook are to get out the word about them; but to improve search engine rank would help (it would be nice if my Fanny hill were the first result you got if you typed 'buy fanny hill'!)
