In my grandma's house in Bernalillo. I will probably die from a destroyed immune system from lack of sleep combined with the high arsenic content of the water.
But it was definitely an ill-omen that the old lady I was renting from in Minneapolis had her dog need to be put down the same day as my departure.

It looks like I'm going back to New Mexico, unless I have some luck and can get run over by a car first. Pretty much everything I'd hoped to avoid of New Mexico is just going on at my sister's here in Minnesota too, with the tradeoff being that I get air in Minnesota but food in New Mexico. I figure if I have to...

sorry... at least the food and landscape are more beautiful there (in parts, at least)...have you checked out Seattle or New Orleans (the former for High Theater, the latter, well you know, the Voodoo Stuff)
aristophanes:
Public transportation in New Orleans I hear is awful; plus it's Mardi Gras this month, so I wouldn't be able to afford a place even if I could find one.
Absolutely nothing about Seattle sounds appealing to me.

Did the commedia play on Saturday. It went better than expected, even if many of the actors were still getting their lines wrong. Much laughter at points which I hadn't even imagined would be funny, which is a good sign. My sister and her boyfriend attended, I'd not seen them since I left their house; it was a good time to meet up again since...

Try living in a nation thats only 220 odd years old.
We do have a good public transport system though, and I suppose if you can find one, catch it, break it and figure out how to keep it, horse riding isn't really that frowned upon.
Excellent to hear the play was a success!

Sweet, the roses.
I still don't understand why, but it remains that the only particularly effective advertising medium I have is to just answer questions on Yahoo Answers and then leave a link to my website in the 'sources.' I only get new customers if I do that. For a while in December I thought maybe my increased blogging was bringing new customers, but in January everything was...

What about your parents? Or are you done with that for now?
aristophanes:
Parents are still living in the spare room in grandma's trailer.
Well, I am moved into a little room in a guest house near the university here in Minneapolis. Things at my sister's suddenly altered and won't be working out anymore: she's still cool. but her boyfriend decided at some point that anything in the house that he doesn't know where it is, I must have stolen or deliberately thrown away. His evidence for this consisted...

Looks like I'm headed out of here circa Feb 12th. I have had a fight with my sister's boyfriend and he is not amongst the group of select folk with whom I can have a fight and we can just recover from it and be cheery and happy again soon after like nothing happened. He is now on my Shit List.
Now, I am stuck...

Well, I'm not feeling too happy about my Kickstarter project. There's only 17 days left and I haven't gotten any new backers since day 3. It's not likely I'd be able to get the thousands needed in such a short time as is left.
I did finish a new screenplay in about 10 days. It's an adaption of some crappy book my cousin's production company...

That play actually sounds good.
Got more stuff to do than there is possibly time to do -- must memorize lines for the commedia dell'arte play I'm in (this one is scripted), translate the Petit Albert, promote my Beaumarchais fundraiser, and write a script based off some book called Paranormalcy for my cousin. Plus the usual spellcasts, blog posts, bread-baking etc.
My Kickstarter page for the Beaumarchais Translation Project is all up!
The project is to translate and to make available for free, the complete plays of spy, arms-dealer and author Pierre Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais!

I have had this song stuck in my head for days. Passing it on might be the only way to remove the curse: kind of like Ringu.
grayness:
I find the Hawaii 5-0 theme will unstick any other song from the inside of my head.
But, then, the cure may be worse than the disease.
But, then, the cure may be worse than the disease.
I'm going to be starting up fundraising efforts through Kickstarter for that Beaumarchais translation project. At the moment I have an embarrassingly cheap looking website in the works for it: https://sites.google.com/site/freebeaumarchais/home
I also made a similarly embarrassing video for the Kickstarter site, which demanded one.
It'll be a few more days before things are ready to launch at Kickstarter because they need to confirm my...

Oh, Christmas. The holiday that allows me an excuse to take time off all those important projects I've been working myself to the bone for, so that I may work myself to the bone on other projects that were put off.
Hope everyone had a nice Christmas!
