Europe was nice. I had a great time, although I was sick most of the entire time I was in Amsterdam. I took over 1,000 pics-I'll upload some later.

13 miles might sound like a long bike ride, but it's really only about an hour. and, in ithaca, the last two miles are waaaaay downhill.

How are you doing with it? I'm anxious to just get started with the frickin' thing already, my Endo is taking forever on this issue. wants me training with shots first... Ugggg I've been on shots for like 2 years now! He switched the type of insulin I'm using to mimic the pump a bit more. Out all my friends who have read the book, only four of them have had anything positive to say about the book, and only one of them really enjoyed it, so I'm probably a little hesitant. Most loathed it, particularly those with similar taste to me, but I'm going to try eventually though.
Thanks for the comment, I'm getting the impression from those that read it that the book is better than the movie (the exact reason to see the movie first, then read the book)
