Yay! I have friends!
And I'm actually updating my journal before midnight! Just slightly before, but still...
Looks like my latest program changes are running smoothly, so it looks like I can finally take a short break. And that means more time with the Chickmunk! Woohoo! *does the happy dance*
Hmmm. Nothing terribly interesting to put in here yet. Still.
One of these days I need to get back out to the garage and do more work on the kayak I'm building. If work can stay slow for a while, I might actually have a chance to do so again. I haven't even finished cutting out the forms yet. =/ For anyone reading this who happens to have an interest in kayaks, we plan on building a pair of cedar strip kayaks, after having built 1.9 skin on frame greenland style kayaks (the second is still hanging from the rafters, skinless).
The one downside, though, is that my rock wall is covered up by sheets of plywood waiting to be turned into kayak forms. I miss climbing it.
I really need to join an indoor climbing gym one of these days (weeks... months...years...).
So many hobbies, so little time....

molonel:
The SG party was fun. Supposedly there were more people the year before, but that might be nostalgia talking. I still have two mini-bottles of vodka and two Red Bulls sitting on my dresser from my prize.
