Sooooo tired.

Two concerts back to back after very long days of work.
Wedsenday was Mono and Pelican, yesterday was Mogwai. More post-rock then you can shake a stick at!

Ok...starting in order:
Pelican. They're like a heavy metal band without a singer. Very good. Although I always get confused when bands don't hace accents. I can't tell you the last time I saw a...

Ok, so the only time I have to update this thing is in the morning. And the length will largely depend on how long i can go before my hungry stomach takes over to find cereal.

I want to first and foremost say a HUGE thank you to Teena and blackcorvidae for hosting a great party! It was fun. I saw alot of people I...

Some jackass was laying on his car horn at 6:30 this morning. I nearly ran outside and killed him.

Finally fall back to sleep.

A few minutes later some jack ass on a motorcycle tears down my little street.

Back to sleep again.

Then finally, the fucktards on the garbage truck are SCREAMING down my block, trying to make the most noise any human possiblely...

You know how everyone has a favorite designer...whether its shoes or blouses its normally someone.
Well mine is Queenbee Creations. She designs bags. And good lordy are they nice bags. Vegetarian friendly since they are made with the most amazing fake leather I've ever seen! Put together beautifully. The designs on each bag are simplistic and graceful. I have literaly made friends with girls on...

Queen Bee should throw you a free bag after that testimonial. I'm even curious to see one.

It is the Public Enemy with Flavor Flav. They played in the park near where I work last summer. Sadly, they're just kind of playing the songs they've played hundreds of times before. They really did lose the sense of urgency they once had.

But Ice-T, he was always my favorite.

I never really had anyone to look up to growing up, so most of my life lessons came from listening to Ice-T rap tapes. You know the dangers of drugs, never drive drunk, respect those who respect you, never join a street gang, the importance of a healthy lifestyle, and how to dismember racist family members and dispose of their bodies.

Did some research and found out that the show exists for an Ice-T reality series. They're doing the School of Rock show again on VH1 only its the School of Rap, Ice-T replaces Gene Simmons, and the little kids play a show with Ice-T and Public Enemy instead of Motorhead.

I have too much time on my hands today that I'm looking stupid stuff like this up on the internet. smile

Anywho, I'd watch out for Queenbee Creations if I were you. It may turn out to be your downfall from animal rights.

If the fake leather is so convincingly real, you'll start getting soft and not let little pieces of leather on clothes slide here and there. Before you know it you'll be wearing a leather jacket!

Be careful! smile

I did send in the worst drawing and sloppiest knitting swatch to the editors of the book I'd like to be published in. Sure, I only had a mere few hours to spare, but I did it!

I'm already breathlessly awaiting the rejection email!

My abilities are rockin, but not when I'm throwing shit together half-assed!

Anyway...I...

So I had this rad idea that I would design a lacey cardigan, since I wanted something that wasn't as heavy as a cardigan, but not as revealing as a shrug. (us big girls should not be down with the shrug, hence my idea) ANYWAY...my boss was so intrigued by my complaints about knitting patterns and larger lady sizing that she suggested I submit my...

Kinda nervous about it to be honest with you!

Just get your project done! It'll be cool I'm sure! If it's cool enough, I might need you to make me one!

Hey kids,

Its Sunday night. I spent most of this weekend in a slothful state and I am fine about that. Went to a GREAT Japanese rock show on Thursday and got completely trashed on Friday night at a friends house. Its been a long long time since I was intoxicated two nights in a row. I kind of missed it, until I was insanely...

Last weekend: Went to a Three Stooges fiesta of an outing. Friday night was a movie night dedicated to Shemp, my favorite Stooge, and Saturday was a trip to the "Stoogeum" which is never open to the public. It was fascinating, but boy howdy have I had my fill of Stooge info.

I have my third cold for this year. I bought the "new Sudafed"...

Hey kids.

I'M NOT DEAD! Well..online I am, but I promise, I am alive and breathing.

I've just been anti-social as of late. I've had alot on my mind thats been upsetting me and I haven't wanted to talk to anyone. I guess I didn't want to spread around my misery to other people. Why bring them down, you know?
Lots of thoughts about my...

Cool...I should make the Emeralds show. I saw them on Saturday in Austin. It was cool...kept running into the lead singer/guitar guy all week during SXSW as well. Even sat in on their sound check in the afternoon. smile They'll have the new album AND a DVD for sale, so bring money.

As for the Hellacopters, I didnt see them. But Delbert did. he liked em alot. I was having too much fun at the Gearhead records show. Oh...Turbonegro cancelled, so I still havent seen them.

What the fuck is wrong with this world. Seriously.

South Dakota outlaws abortion, now Mississippi is jumping on the bandwagon.
Do you think the conservatives of this country really gives a fuck about my ovaries or vagina? I doubt it. And if I just went, got one done, came home, and saw those fuckheads at an Arby's the next day do you think they would...

I am mad to about this, they are trying to change the law to fit some religous profile that they want the world to reflect.

The only thing that really scares me about it all is that the right to choose movement is not as stronge as it wsa in the 60's when the laws were changed. It will take a large shift to mobilize the movement again. I fear that by the time people realize whats happening it wil be to late and the world will be changed.

Hopefully it backfires and the wacko right will be voted out of office in 2008.

I promise, Vegas stories, knitting details, and all the other crap you've come to know and love soon.
