Halloween and crap!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes!

I know your all sick of hearing me bitch and complain about my neuroticness about turning 30. But here's the finally one.
It didn't officially give me the willies until I told someone I'll be 31 next year. for some reason those words seem to be the spookiest I've heard all month long!

Happy Halloween...

A year ago today my mom died.

I got the call around 10pm. A medication she was on caused her heart to stop. They recussitated her, but she already had massive brain damage. They let her pass away.

I didn't get to see or talk to her the day she died.

She was my favorite person in the whole world and there's not a day...

I was gonna come here and discuss Argento goodness, but I'm thinking it would probably be in bad taste. Hope you're doing well hon.

Since I'm way too tired to write anything near a real post...

I didn't watch Project Runway last night but I know the stupid fuckwad Jeffrey won.

I guess being a sell out prick will be in this year!
All the cool kids are wearing it!

Argh. Tired.

Ok.

So my secret obsession is Project Runway. I'm like insanely obsessed with it this season.

Anyway....Jeffrey is getting kicked off!!!! Fuck yeah!!!!!

Totally hated him and his mall-punk bullshit.

Yay!

Best! News! Ever!!

ok....I'm going to go back to being mellow.

Is the final episode tomorrow night!>?!?!?! We have been torturing out friends by inviting them over for LOST, and then making them watch project runway.

Michael all the way!

Heh, Jeffrey.

I think my interest in SG is officially waning. All the cool kids left. The boards don't seem to have the sparkle they once did. And when i google myself (which is my lazy way of finding my SG account without all that blasted typing) my SG account doesn't even pop up anymore.

Its a shame really...because it was awesome in its prime.

Eh.

I'm...

Yup...ditto for me. I finally went to the SGPhilly site last night...1st time in weeks. I even posted something! I think the only reason I havent deleted my account is to keep my name. silly me...

Happy hour tomorrow night?
akirali:
I tend to be more social online than off, so this is one of my biggeest outlets for not letting what few social skills I have waste away into nothingness.

God...my posting seems to have become few and far between. I've been busy. Work is a big chunk of my week, then there's going to the bar, grocery shopping, and just trying to actually get things accomplished on my time off.

And honestly....I've not been much for talking as of late. I've been keeping to myself, only really seeing people on a one by one...

Philadelphia has fallen in line after such cities as LA and NY and passed a smoking ban.

I hate this city more then before now.

Besides having to fork over money in the form of a wage tax...even if I DON'T EVEN WORK IN THE STATE! I now can't even enjoy a stupid cigarette in a dive bar. Sure...my eyes will be happier and my...

Free Dog!

I'm so upset about the whole Duane "Dog" Chapman thing! I won't even go into it because I find the whole thing infuriating! How can a man who has helped so many get arrested for something so stupid! Bah! There's many many more people more deserving of a jail sentence then Dog, Leeland and Tim!

Free Dog!!!

More updates to come later. Too...

So so so....a new week.

Ok...so...news. I start a new job tomorrow. I was keeping it so on the DL that I forgot to mention it anywhere to anyone. I'm excited. Its me and the owner of the company most days, luckily she seems very nice. I'll be selling various nifty things to other companies to sell. She doesn't distribute to the general public, so...

Very cool on the job thing! Congratulations! Now, we can head over to that knitting whore's shop and poke her eyes out with her own needles!

One bad thing though...unless you actually file your taxes outside of the city of Philadelphia (as in claiming residence at your Dad's or in-laws house), you have to pay City Wage Taxes. That's even if the job lies outside of the city/state. Being a resident of the City/County of Philadelphia, employers are required to take out the 4 percent no matter where the job is. frown

Now the GOOD thing...by working in South Jersey, you won't have to pay PENNSYLVANIA state tax. It's supposed to be reciprical between the two states (nj/pa). And most of the time, employers dont take out the state tax at all from the originating state. How about them apples?
rubysparkle:
Thanks for your words of support! I need to do what I know is right.
My employed has accused me of being unprofessional, unreliable and I'm not to be trusted.
Good luck with your new job!
