hauled ass all day today. worked hard. got new scabs to show for it. sore back, it all hurts enough. beat the rain, though.
sit listening to country music now. the braves will be on soon.
my head itches. i can't much say anything about politic and metaphysic, and i can't do crunches like i should.
used to be, ideas were true momentarily, according to how interestingly complex they were--providing new conceptual frameworks through which i could see the world--but now i am seeing that i have a history that is unavoidable. ideas are beginning to get color from the horizon, and its a fixed one. i guess that is what makes diversity and decesion. Applying Heidegger (or Nietzche, for that matter) is a dangerous thing. Heidegger, strangely enough, is even more dangerous. Nietzche denies morality and homeland and early Heidegger loves his moral homeland more than anything. If you were looking to start a Nazi movement you could find it there. I guess that makes it scary--wrong footed folks can go wrong fast. But it also makes it true, inasmuch as so many people bought its first incarnation to such an exent. To such a great extent that they were willing to betray their humanity via their denial of the solidarity they share with other conscious entities.
I still think Heidegger's vision of horizon qua homeland was right, though. It isn't an ethnic thing. To my thinking, it is a working thing.
You work or you fake it.
or something...no matter--the Braves are on.
