Somewhere along the line I went from a super-active participant to a mega-lurker. I kinda regret that. Because now I'm that guy who sneaks out of the shadows every month or so to say something, then disappears again.

I wish Christmas dodn't give me such stress. I'm pretty positive that a lot of people have a really good time during the holiday seasons.

I am...

I think it's a tip off when someone that's not on your friends list frequently comments on your journal. It's a little disapointing when it stops though.

I expect way more out of myself at school than the profressors and instructors do. Thats cool. That means I can stress and freak, and still do okay even though I feel like its total self destruction.

The class on Science-Fiction and Horror films is the greatest invention in modern academics. I'm learning, schoolin' and having fun all at the same time.

I have to...

All and all, it wasn't the greatest of bithdays.

There's still fourty-five minutes, so who knows what'll happen. But, considering I have to finish this paper, odds aren't too good.

(Jennifer is coming! Jennifer is coming!!)
kopper:
hope the last minutes were good ones....

i drenched my morning's paperwork with coffee today.. it was uncool.

Ooh. There was a good story on Frontline tonight about Credit Cards.

I think I'm going to call my bank this weekend.

I'm getting older, I can feel it in my bones. Here's a chicken and egg question: do I feel old because I'm watching more PBS, or am I watching more PBS because I'm old?

Frontline had a really interesting doc on Wal-Mart this week. Not just about how their practices affect retail, but manufacturing. It was pretty interesting.

Coincidentially, last week's South Park was about...

my bones have been creaking all week.... but i don't think it has anything to do with the vast amount of TVO that i watch... i can't seem to get enough nature based programming these days....

You feel old and watch pbs because you don't drink enough. There is some hot sauce for your chicken and eggs! biggrin

I can say now with confidence that I do not, nor will I ever, understand America.

No kidding. I genuinely believed that most of them knew better. I guess not. surreal

I haven't been around.

Which is not to say I have been busy. Just.. errrr.. Not busy with other things.

I really like Hallowe'en, but I suck at it. I think I've said this before. I am incapable of getting together a costume.

It's especially hard when you wear glasses and dont wear contacts, since you have to find a costume where you can integrate...

The Guardian's Letters to Ohio project is pretty interesting, and it mirrors how I feel about the US elections as a Canadian.

Readers of the Guardian are sending emails to undecided voters in Ohio, explaining to them the concequences of the elections on a global scale. The responses have been across the board, and a good read.

I think thats awesome. I'll explain. Not awesome but good. No, not good. Ah christ........ You are 100% correct on this election effectting *spelling* the whole world. It's serious, and my chica and I have been paying very close attention to every single detail. It makes you sweat, laugh, and almost cry sometimes. Oh did I mention spit, curse, puke, and gag? George Bush is a douche bag. John Kerry is a freak. Teresa Heinz Kerry is also a douche bag. She especially makes me want to cut my two big toes off, and hopefully bleed to death before she is shacking up in the White House. BUT, I feel Kerry will make a "better" president. Bush is bad news. I just wish we could get a little more time and another candidate that is a bit more interesting. I will now read the links you put up.

ARRR!!! Peace Out

I'm gay for Jon Stewart.

merry:
You saw him on Crossfire too, huh? wink
merry:
Say... would you be interested in writing something for the next issue of my zine about why Jon Stewart is The Man for telling the hosts of Crossfire why they suck? It doesn't really matter how short or long it is, but the deadline would be November 5. Whaddya say? smile
