while i was getting gas, the guy who was pumping it said to another person across the lot "that is the seventh fire truck or fire truck related equipment to pass by here. there must be one hell of a conflagration somewhere."

so, over the last week and a half i have spent approximately 46 hours traveling and been in 5 states.

i played with my dog i haven't seen in years, went to a debaucherous party, and swam in a volcano. all in different states.

i am sunburned, sore, and exhausted.

i am very happy to be back home.

day 6 of my adventure. i spent all day on a plane, my ride was late, then when they got there, they proceded to grab my life by the ear and whip it around ninety degrees.

then jerk it again another one hundred eighty.

after spending five days in absolute stasis, ten minutes back and i have whiplash from being caught back up to speed.

day 4 of my adventure. everything is the same as it was years ago, and is gathering dust. the locals wouldn't have it any other way. unfortunately for them, a lot of other people think they believe the same thing and are trying to join in.

day 3 of my adventure. i have happened upon a cache of some of the most amazing wallpaper ever. reflective silver with orange and pink butterflies and flowers.

this made me exceedingly happy.

oh, and my mom still thinks i'm gay.

now i'm going to go drinking with them.

tonight is a night i was destined to stay home and do nothing. after spending a solid week being social, then attempting to fight it off this week and failing, it's friday night and bam, i'm home.
